Do you approve or disapprove the Liberals gained a majority with floor-crossers?
ABOUT THIS POLL
The Liberals have now secured a slim majority after winning by-elections in Scarborough Southwest (ON), University–Rosedale (ON) and Terrebonne (QC). However, without the floor crossers, the Liberal government would currently be sitting in a minority position with 169 seats. As of April 14, 2026, the Liberals hold 174 seats in the House of Commons. In the expanded 343-seat House, 172 seats are required for a bare majority. While the Liberals have technically crossed that threshold following these recent by-election wins, their “majority” is mathematically dependent on five MPs who defected from the opposition benches over the last six months. What’s your thoughts?
Current House Composition
